“Go to the poor and you will find God”
St. Vincent de Paul
The Newman Community partners with the local Catholic parish to work with and among the poor in the Charleston area. Our St. Vincent de Paul Society offers financial support, guidance, prayer, and friendship. Members work in pairs and are “on call” for about a week at a time to visit people in need.
We also organize fundraisers throughout the year to support the work of the society. All are welcome!
Meetings are Tuesdays at 5:45 pm in the Newman Lounge.
